Taking It Old School Again: Red Herring

Honestly, one of the greatest experiences for me in New York was seeing Michael's play come to life. I can probably speak for both of us in saying that. I couldn't have been more proud of him or more excited to be in New York during such a priceless time in his life. Yet again, that is something we shared together and it's so special!

What's even cooler than that is the fact that we threw a completely awesome party in only a few months of being residents of this fine city. Um, that makes us bad ass. I remember that night so well! At that time, having both Jeff and Jessica, the Marietta crew AND Mom there for the night made it even better and so much more fun. I still remember pouring myself basically glasses of gin and, welp, we all know how the night actually ended... Man, gin really really is the devil for me. Geez, I just realized how ridiculous I became on that car ride home! Anyway, let's not dwell on unsavory facts. Let's choose to remember the fun shenanigans instead:
I will never, ever forget this photo. I was convinced we were meant to be. I mean, good grief, look at that smile of mine:
We also had a ton of fun with Mom that visit, too. I died when I came across this photo and still think I look like I'm 40:
Note to self: don't look like that anymore if you can help it.

Doesn't all this seem like ages ago? I suppose it was but man, what an amazing time and memory for us in New York. You and I, in my opinion, fully succeeded in celebrating Red Herring for the tremendous event that it was. I'm proud of us for doing so and will hold on to those memories forever!
