J-E-T-S, Jets Jets Jets!

Who can ever forget two of the coldest days of our lives that rivaled even the day we moved to New York? I'm talking about 15K day and the Jets game that followed it. First of all, let's stop for a second and remember just how awesome it was to finish our very first 15K race. That day was honestly fantastic and, while I thought my limbs might fall off from frostbite, it was such an accomplishment. These are two happy girls:

I used to say all the time that I wanted to experience a true northern football game tailgating in the cold. I always had these visions of being all bundled, eating chili, drinking beers. I dunno, I guess I had a romantic view of what that kind of cold tailgating day would be like. You know what? It ain't anything like that. It's just damn cold. However, I couldn't have had more fun that entire weekend if I tried.

Amanda, Jay and Neal coming in town made for just about the best celebration after our race, didn't it? So many fun memories come from nights at Citibar and that one was no exception:
Neal's BFF:
I can't even believe the snow storm that hit that night. Maybe we should've figured it would be cold as balls at the game the next day. Nope, not us. We were having way too much fun to think of such things:

Spending time with James will always and forever be awesome. It doesn't matter what we're doing or where we are, we all have such fun together and I cherish memories we've made. Tailgating together, for a Jets (vs. Falcons!) game no less, is certainly hard to top when it comes to our portfolio o' James memories. Only you could pull off prosecco at a football game:
Yep:
Such badasses:
I had to add this little treat in as well from before we went into the stadium:

I actually laughed hard out loud at that photo, just an FYI.

Making this blog has been so bittersweet. I've had SO much fun looking back through all of these photos and remembering all of these moments, yet I long to go back and re-live them all. I just want to slow time down and go back to some of these days. I simply have to think of it in terms of just how incredibly blessed I am to have been given these cherished times in life with such amazing people.
