Rocky Mountain High

I already briefly touched on how happy it makes me to travel together but that's really grown to be something amazing over time. I had an early love of traveling that I didn't quite give notice to years ago but it's definitely gotten stronger as I've been able to have so many wonderful experiences alongside you. The places we've been so far have really been some of the best times of my life for all kinds of reasons. A million memories pop right up instantly when I start thinking about shenanigans of ours and it brings such a smile to my face, Allison.

For me, one of the greatest trips of all (outside of Sicily, of course!) is our excursion to Denver. I could never have known how much I would really love that place or how insanely fun it would be with Colleen and Christina. I even feel as though the trip solidified our friendship(s) even more and that's the most special part about it! The awe, wonder and majesty of the Colorado mountains left me speechless and I still feel that moving exhilaration inside when I think about it. You know those moments that you just want to capture in a bottle and save to feel all over again? I will never, ever forget our drive into the mountains on the day we went to Boulder and stepping outside to look out over the incredible power of god's beautiful creations. It gets me choked up inside even thinking about it. The emotion evoked in me by that place is one of the biggest reasons I feel that Denver might just be the place for me. We won't get into that right now, though...

Truly, forever, I will love our very first morning in Evergreen at Wildflower Cafe:
Though I've gotten to go back several times with Bryan, nothing will ever compare to our experience there. It's exactly the kind of sweet, cozy place I love. It makes me happy and I'm so glad we were there together.

The rest of the day - between going to Coors, being at the brewery in Golden, heading to the Rockies game and ultimately meeting Bryan - has got to be one of my favorite days of all time. A top fiver, most certainly and, even though it didn't take place in New York specifically, it couldn't have been more awesome of a day shared together. I get so giddy looking through these:
I love this for some reason:
Who could've known the chapter that would begin after our night at Wynkoop:
I might frame both of these for whatever new apartment I end up in:
The rest of the weekend was simply spectacular. From Boulder to Breckenridge, gondola rides to oxygen breaks, a stop in the mountains to Red Rocks, patios to mules, it was one of the best trips I've ever had:
I absolutely love our time together. We're so blessed to have each other!
