Niagra Falls was really such a fun trip. Just to interject a side note, my ability to sleep in the car is astounding. I really cannot believe I slept that entire car ride but hey, that's what you get when you combine me, a moving vehicle and lots o' booze. It's so weird to me that we left on the evening of my ICG welcome drinks at PJ Clarke's. Now, that feels like a lifetime ago. Can you believe it was 2007?! Damn, time flies...
Anywho, I feel like that trip was a phantom memory, almost like it didn't really happen. I don't know if you feel the same but it's weird! I feel like I remember certain specific things and that's it. All I know is it was the start of what's now the best tradition, ever:
I could really pee my pants looking at this for a while. That's what a day of wine tasting will do to you!
Speaking of wine tasting, that first afternoon was fantastic. I loved every single part of it:
This could be our theme photo for life:
For me, seeing Niagra Falls was so intense and fascinating. Obviously due to my fear of the power of ocean water, I honestly was awestruck by it and part of me just wanted to run as far away from the edge as I could. Yet, I was sucked in and mesmerized:
What a remarkable showcase of god's glory, truly.
Hig 'n hog:
These just make me giggle:Tonawandas. Yep, that was us after eating and drinking all weekend:
I mean, what did our 1 mile run accomplish that night when we got back...? We're retarded.
I loved this trip so much and I was really glad we did it. This was the trip that officially made me want to start traveling more together so it's extra special to me for that reason, too. We know how to have fun, that's for damn sure.
